Glenn M. Swiatek

Mr. Swiatek opened his practice in Fort Walton Beach in 1998 gaining experience in all of the Florida State Court systems. He has argued cases before the County, Circuit and the District Court of Appeals as well as the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. Mr. Swiatek also practices in the federal court system and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida in Pensacola. His experience ranges from representing the accused in cases of domestic violence, battery, DUI and robbery to murder. Mr. Swiatek has provided research for cases argued before the United States Supreme Court and was an editor of the Oklahoma Tribal Court Reports. He has been the Law Week Chairman for the Okaloosa-Walton Bar Association for the past four years and also serves as the Vice-President of the Okaloosa-Walton Chapter of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Mr. Swiatek was also the Judge for the Okaloosa County Teen Court, a member of the City of Fort Walton Beach’s Municipal Planning Board and currently serves on the City's Board of Adjustments. During his hours away from the office, Glenn enjoys playing in the local band The Jazz Mackerels as well as the Playground Big Band and the Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra and the Emerald Coast Philharmonic Orchestra. Glenn is an avid Fort Walton Beach High School supporter and alumnus and was the Voice of the Vikings for the 2003 football season. Glenn is currently the half-time announcer for the Bruner Middle School Band.
