Jeffrey M. Backo

Mr. Backo has practiced law in the Sarasota County and North Port Florida since 2011. He attended the State University of New York at Brockport. (B.A. ‘05). He attended law school in New York at Buffalo Law School (J.D. ’10). During law school, he interned at both the City of Buffalo, Office of the Corporation Counsel and Office of the Chief Counsel at the Internal Revenue Service. Mr. Backo has dedicated his practice solely to the area of Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Administration and Medicaid Qualification. He routinely guides clients through the court procedures and deadlines of Florida Probate and Trust administration as well as the Medicaid Qualification process. His experience in preparing comprehensive Estate Plans; including Last Will and Testaments, Trusts, Durable Powers of Attorney, Living Wills and related documents, allows him to help each client develop an estate plan that is personalized to their needs. Mr. Backo has been an active member of the North Port Young Professionals and the North Port Chamber of Commerce and has worked with numerous charitable organizations.
