Jessica A. Teitelbaum

JESSICA A. TEITELBAUM is a partner in the Fort Myers regional office of The Chartwell Law Offices, LLP. Ms. Teitelbaum attended the University of Florida where she graduated 8th in her class (top 1%) and earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with high honors. She was awarded the University of Florida Presidential Recognition for outstanding achievement and contributions to the University of Florida, and achieved membership in Beta Gamma Sigma, the accredited business school equivalent to the liberal arts and sciences honor society, Phi Beta Kappa. She continued her education at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she earned her law degree and achieved membership in Phi Delta Phi International Legal Fraternity, which requires academic honors for admission in Florida. She concentrates her practice on civil litigation defense, handling insurance claim disputes, construction defect claims, commercial contract disputes, product liability, premises liability, and personal injury claims in Florida federal and state courts. She has also defended, to complete victory via summary judgment, federal flood insurance claims in Florida. She is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Southern and Middle Districts of Florida and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. She is a member of the Lee County and American Bar Associations Awards and Honors Honors University of Florida Presidential Recognition, 1999 U.F. Anderson Scholar of Highest Distinction, 1997 Golden Key National Honor Society, 1997 U.F. Student Government Honor Court, Associate Justice and Proctoring Committee Chair, 1997 Florida Academic Scholarship maintained, 1995 - 1999
