About Joe Tapp Waechter
A native to the Tampa Bay area, Joe Waechter was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida. He attended St. Petersburg High School's International Baccalaureate program and the University of Florida, earning an undergraduate degree in Economics with a minor in Business Administration. Mr. Waechter graduated with a Juris Doctorate from the Florida State University College of Law where he was recognized for his community service and academic achievements. While in law school, Mr. Waechter clerked for Morgan & Morgan Attorney John Yanchunis and gained experience with class action law. Mr. Waechter joined Morgan & Morgan's National Consumer Class Action and Mass Tort Department following law school, and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2011. Mr. Waechter's practice areas include, consumer protection, class actions, and mass torts.
