Katie Jackson Stolz

Katie is a Brevard County native who graduated cum laude from Florida State University College of law in December of 2018. The summer after her first year of law school she interned with former Chief Judge Tonya Rainwater working on civil litigation over $15,000. The summer after her second year of law school she worked as a Certified Legal Intern in the juvenile division of the State Attorney’s Office. Growing up in Brevard County, Katie was an avid soccer player. She played locally on state championship winning teams for Satellite High School as well as for coach Fidgi Haig’s Indialantic Force club team. During high school she received various honors including Florida’s Gatorade Player of the Year. After high school, she earned a full athletic and academic scholarship to play soccer at the University of Central Florida. She captained the team for her junior and senior seasons before graduating with a degree in Biology from UCF’s Burnett Honors College. After college, she taught science and leadership skills for one year at Eau Gallie High School before moving abroad to Switzerland and New Zealand to play professional soccer. In New Zealand, she also worked one-on-one with students from the special needs classes at a local high school, coached high school girls’ soccer, and waitressed at a local pub.
