Kobi A. Finley is the owner of Phillips & Finley LLC, where she helps clients navigate the legal processes involved in elder law matters, including estate planning, Medicaid planning, powers of attorney, guardianships, probate and estate administration and trusts. Before working at Phillips & Finley LLC, Ms. Finley worked as a trial attorney and a supervising attorney at the Florida Department of Children and Families. Ms. Finley earned her law degree from the Fredric G. Levin College of Law at the University of Florida and her bachelor's degree from the University of Florida. Inspired by her father, James H. Finley, PhD who was a forensic psychologist and vocational expert, Ms. Finley has always been motivated to help people to the best of her ability. As a lawyer, she does this by providing compassionate and considered legal strategies for people who need to pay for a nursing home, settle an estate, establish a guardianship for an incapacitated or disabled loved one, or take care of other elder care-related matters with integrity.
