About Mark R. Houck
Mark R. Houck is the managing partner of Chartwell's Florida offices. Mr. Houck graduated from Vanderbilt University, with a B.A. in 1976, and earned his law degree from the University of Miami School of Law in 1979. He is admitted to the Florida Bar, United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, United States District Court, Middle and Northern Districts of Florida, United States Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. . Mr. Houck concentrates his practice in admiralty and maritime law, commercial litigation, products liability, aviation, and insurance coverage litigation. He is an active member of t he Maritime Law Association of the United States, Southeastern Admiralty Law Institute, Fort Lauderdale Mariners Club, American Boat and Yacht Council Marine Industries Association of South Florida Defense Research Institute
