Matthew R. McGuigan

Mill Stone Legal Group was founded by attorney Matthew R. McGuigan, a seasoned litigator whose career spans financial markets, major national law firms, and more than a decade of fighting for injured Floridians. Matthew is also a circuit court certified mediator and handles mediations for all types of cases. Born in Boston and raised in Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Matthew began his professional life as a licensed stockbroker in San Diego before entering the real estate and mortgage industry. In 2006, he returned to law school, earning High Honors at Rutgers School of Law — graduating in the top 10 percent of his class and making the Dean’s List every semester. He went on to sharpen his trial and litigation skills at Blank Rome LLP, an international Am Law 100 firm, representing some of the largest financial institutions in the world. That experience showed him exactly how big, powerful entities operate — and how everyday people can get steamrolled without the right advocate by their side. In 2012, he founded Mill Stone Legal Group with one mission: to fight aggressively for the injured and ensure every client receives the attention, access, and justice they deserve.
