Michael Haworth has a strong family background in law enforcement. He began his legal career at the State Attorney's Office in Pinellas County, where he formed connections with many investigators and officers. He enjoys the dynamic and constantly evolving nature of criminal cases, which keeps the work engaging and challenging as every day brings a new story, case, and experience. Since 2017, Michael has handled thousands of cases ranging from misdemeanors and felonies handled in state courts to federal crimes and capital offenses. Along with earning the Sixth Circuit State Attorney's Office Golden Tie Award in 2018 for most wins at trial, Michael has earned a reputation in Pinellas County for his strong advocacy in the courtroom. Through his experience trying many cases before a jury, Michael has developed the skills, resources, and connections to build a strong defense strategy for your case. He has spent years searching for issues in evidence, inconsistencies in police reports, and flaws in testimony. After over half a decade building cases for the State Attorney's Office, Michael is prepared to break down your matter to get you the fairest resolution possible. Until 2023, Michael was an attorney at the Hanlon Law Firm, a high-volume firm in the Tampa area. He started his own firm in 2024, Haworth Legal, to bring individualized care and personalized legal services to the arrests and accused throughout Pinellas County.
