Michael John Wood

Michael J. Wood is a partner in the Fort Lauderdale office of Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., where he focuses his practice in the areas of automobile liability, premises liability, and first-party and third-party insurance coverage claims. Previously, Mr. Wood was a civil litigation attorney with the law firm of Bernstein, Chackman, Liss & Rose in Hollywood, Florida. Mr. Wood received his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center in 2007 and a Bachelor of Arts cum laude from the University of Florida where he majored in English and criminology. Upon his graduation from high school, Mr. Wood joined the United States Marine Corps. Before receiving an honorable discharge, he spent five years serving his country in a combat infantry unit on numerous deployments, achieving the rank of sergeant. Mr. Wood is licensed to practice law in Florida and he is a member of The Florida Bar.
