Michelle Zeiger

Ms. Zeiger focuses her practice in the defense of bodily injury, wrongful death, premises liability, product liability, auto accident, and catastrophic injury. Ms. Zeiger was recently named to the 2010 list of "Rising Stars" by Florida Super Lawyers magazine. Admitted to The Florida Bar in 2003, Ms. Zeiger began her career as an Assistant State Attorney with the Office of the State Attorney, Seventeenth Judicial Circuit Broward County, Florida. Ms. Zeiger completed her prosecutorial career in the Sexual Battery Unit, having tried over 100 jury trials to verdict - including serious capital sexual offenses and first degree felonies such as attempted murder, kidnapping, carjacking, drug trafficking and other violent felonies. Before joining Lydecker Diaz, Ms. Zeiger gained experience defending negligence matters at a prominent insurance defense law firm where she practiced for three years defending individual and corporate clients against claims of medical malpractice, personal injury and wrongful death claims. Additionally, Ms. Zeiger represented insurance carriers defending first party property claims. Ms. Zeiger graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor in Business Administration from Emory University and went on to earn a Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 2003.
