Personal Information: Born in Augusta, Georgia on March 21, 1969 and has lived in Ocala, Florida since 1976. Attended Eighth Street Elementary School, Osceola Middle School, and Forest High School in Ocala. Married to Suzanne Michell Wingo and they have two children, daughters Jordan and Allie. Jordan was born September 16, 1995 and Allie was born December 6, 1997. Father is L. Earl Wingo, M.D., of Ocala, Florida. Mother is Dianne Ward Maxwell of Winter Park, Florida. Has one sister Laura Wingo Skiles, of Jacksonville, Florida and one brother, Matthew Wingo, of Atlanta, Georgia. Finisher of the 2005 New York Marathon in less than 4 hours; finisher of 8 half-marathons with a personal best of 1 hour, 27 minutes; official finisher of the 2009 Cohutta 100, a 100 mile mountain bike race which is a part of the National Ultra Endurance Series; have hiked in Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton National Park, Glacier National Park, Pisgah National Forest, and multiple portions of the Florida Trail.
