Stuart Griggs

Stuart Griggs was born in Ocala, Fl and moved to Coral Gables, Fl., when he was eight years old. He graduated from Coral Gables High School, obtained his Associates degree from Miami-Dade Community College in South Miami, followed by his Bachelors in Science from Florida State University and Law Degree from Cumberland School of Law. In law school he held three clerking positions beginning immediately after his first year of law school, each of which furthered his knowledge of workers compensation, personal injury law and insurance related negotiations. Before Law school was complete he had secured a full time position with a Jacksonville insurance defense firm, primarily representing employers and their insurance companies in workers compensation matters. In the first four years of practice he tried several workers compensation cases to completion, including appeals and the opportunity to argue before the First and Fourth Florida District Court Of Appeals on workers compensation matters. Since 1992, he has dedicated his entire practice to handling Florida workers compensation cases on behalf of injured workers and their families.
