He also serves as a Special Assistant Attorney General for the State of Georgia, representing the Georgia Department of Human Services in civil litigation within the Gwinnett Judicial Circuit. Byron is licensed to practice in all Georgia state and local courts, including the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. He is a member of the Technology, Intellectual Property, Business, and Labor & Employment Sections of the Georgia Bar Association, the North Fulton Bar Association, and the Technology Association of Georgia. Byron also serves on the Board of Directors of the Alpharetta Development Authority, where he helps promote economic development and growth in the city’s business community. A frequent lecturer and continuing legal education instructor, Byron regularly presents on technology, business, and employment law topics for the National Business Institute, Reinhardt University, and professional organizations throughout Georgia. His publications and speaking engagements have addressed emerging issues in data privacy, cybersecurity, and evolving workplace laws. Byron earned his J.D. from the Georgia State University College of Law, where he served as President of the Moot Court Board and led award-winning national moot court teams. He received dual B.A. degrees in International Studies and German Studies from Emory University.
