Clifford Maxwell Weiss

Cliff Weiss earned his undergraduate degree and his law degree from Emory University, where he received numerous awards and honors. Cliff is included in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers for labor & employment and general litigation, and he maintains an A.V. rating, which is the highest rating given by Martindale-Hubbell for competence, ability and professionalism among attorneys, as well as a perfect 10 rating among peers and the highest 5 Star rating from clients on Avvo.com, and the highest 5 Star rating on Google, as well as the Highly Recommended 5 Star rating on Alignable. Cliff has also been highlighted as a Legal Leader by Corporate Counsel Magazine, and he is a former registered mediator and arbitrator with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution. Cliff has been an Adjunct Professor of Law at Emory University School of Law, teaching courses in Wage & Hour Law, Trial Techniques, and Legal Research, Writing and Appellate Advocacy, and he served twenty-eight years as Chief Counsel for Emory University Student Legal Services. He was appointed by three different Governors to serve as State Administrative Hearing Officer for the Georgia Department of Community Health and for the Georgia State Health Planning Agency. Cliff practices all areas of employment law, corporate transactions, and business litigation. Most of Cliff's career was spent defending companies/employers in employment discrimination cases, but in recent years he has used that knowledge and experience to successfully represent employees in employment discrimination cases.
