James William Stone

James is a lawyer in the Atlanta office of Stone Law Group who practices in the areas of products liability, medical negligence, wrongful death, personal injury, as well as commercial and consumer litigation. James is the second son of Stone Law Group senior partner William S. Stone and joins his brother Ryals as a fifth generation attorney. James was born in Marianna, Florida on April 12, 1987 and grew up in Blakely, Georgia. He graduated from Southwest Georgia Academy in 2005, with honors. James is a 2009 graduate of the University of Georgia where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the Terry College of Business, majoring in Management Information Systems. James attended Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School, graduating in 2013. During his time in law school, James participated on the Mock Trial team, and also was an active member in the school’s student chapter of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. James was sworn in to the State Bar of Georgia in 2013. He is admitted to practice before the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Georgia Supreme Court. James is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association of Justice, and the American Bar Association.
