Joanna E. Arthur

Joanna E. Arthur is a graduate of Clayton State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in History as Cum Laude of her class. While as a student at Clayton State University, Joanna helped various professors write curriculum for future students. She then attended the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University where she graduated with her Juris Doctorate. While attending law school Joanna was a member of the Associate of Women Law Students and the Christian Law Society. Joanna interned with the Christian Law Association and the National Center for Life and Liberty where she assisted in various Constitutional Law appellate work, and assisted in submitting an Amicus Brief to the Supreme Court of the United States. Finally, she assisted the in the writing of Estate documents for clients. After passing the bar exam Joanna worked for Ricky Morris Jr., P.C., where her love of Criminal Defense was found. Joanna then became a sole practitioner until becoming a partner at Sexton & Moody, P.C. in March of 2022. Joanna specialized in Criminal Defense and Estate Planning and Probate.
