About Kim Kirby
Kim wants all people to have quality representation during every stage of the criminal justice system. She knows that being charged with a crime is a terrifying prospect that can have lasting effects on the lives of those around you. Whether you or someone you love has been charged with a misdemeanor, felony, or juvenile delinquency offense, Kim wants to help you understand your options and guide you to the best available for your unique case. Kim has extensive experience working with and around prosecutors. She began working full-time in the Cobb District Attorney's Office in an administrative capacity, while she attended school at night and on weekends to earn her undergraduate and law degrees. Since leaving the Cobb District Attorney's Office, Kim has worked as a prosecutor for the Douglas County Solicitor's Office. At the Douglas County Solicitor's Office, she prosecuted countless misdemeanor cases including traffic offenses, DUIs, and domestic violence cases before she ultimately became the head of the Domestic Violence Unit. After leaving Douglas County, Kim joined the Paulding County District Attorney's Office handling criminal prosecution focused on Juvenile delinquency cases. She is particularly passionate about helping juveniles charged with criminal actions. It may surprise you to learn that the juvenile justice system is different in many ways from the adult justice system. If your child has been charged with a crime, Kim will fight to clear their name and protect their record.
