Mali Shadmehry

Mali Shadmehry is a partner in Hastings Shadmhery, having co-founded the firm in 2023; and she was a partner in the previous incarnation of the firm, Waggoner Hastings, from 2021. She earned her Juris Doctorate from Emory University School of Law in 2015. Prior to law school, she received her B.S. in Political Science from Kennesaw State University, where she also served as co-founder of the KSU Equestrian Team. A Cumming, Georgia native and graduate of North Forsyth High School, Mali thrives on helping people and on applying her advocacy skills throughout the Metro Atlanta counties, and beyond. Mali is honored to be a leader at Hastings Shadmehry, and she thrives to build trusting, professional relationships with every client and handling every case with care and accuracy. Throughout law school, Mali enjoyed focusing her course studies around family law and civil litigation. She also worked as a legal assistant and summer associate at a civil litigation defense firm where she primarily handled medical malpractice, premises liability, and governmental liability cases, and built her legal skills under experienced attorneys. She also served as a legal extern in the Civil Litigation Division of the Georgia Office of the Attorney General, dealing with torts and civil rights issues. Mali is also a leader in her home county, having recently completed two terms as President of the Forsyth County Bar Association. She helped build up the group to its current strength and remains an active and influential member. Outside of the office, Mali is an avid body builder, remains a lifelong equestrian, is "Mom" to three dogs, and enjoys any outdoor activity.
