Peter H. Schmidt II

Peter Schmidt is a partner in the Atlanta law firm Drew, Eckl & Farnham. He has been with the firm since 1991. He is a graduate of Emory University and received his Juris Doctor degree at Georgia State University College of Law. Mr. Schmidt has a general trial practice with an emphasis on general liability and first party property defense. He has extensive trial and appellate experience in state and federal courts. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Georgia Bar Association, Atlanta Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, Southern Loss Association, and Atlanta Claims Association. In 1996 he served on the Education Committee and Board of Directors of the Atlanta Claims Association. Since 1997 he has been the General Editor of the American Bar Association's ""Annotations to the Homeowner's Policy."" He is a frequent panelist and lecturer on litigation and insurance topics for a number of professional associations, including the Property Loss Research Bureau.
