About Raymond V. Giudice

EDUCATION Raymond V. Giudice received his B.A. in Political Science from Emory University in 1980, and his J.D. from Emory University School of Law in 1985. He has been a member in good standing of the Georgia Bar Association since 1985, and was sworn into the Alabama Bar Association in 2007. Ray has been admitted to practice in all of the State Courts of Georgia and Alabama, as well as the Georgia Court of Appeals, Georgia Supreme Court, and the United States District Court, Northern District of Georgia. WORK HISTORY In 1985–86 Ray served as an Assistant Solicitor in the DeKalb County Solicitor’s office, prosecuting hundreds of misdemeanor criminal offenses, including DUI, serious traffic offenses, simple battery, assault, drug offenses, and theft offenses. In January 1987, Ray began his private practice, which has focused on representing those charged with crimes, as well as representing individuals who have been seriously injured in personal injury cases. Ray has served as lead counsel in well over 200 jury trials throughout the state of Georgia; and has litigated personal injury cases which have led to the creation of new law in the State of Georgia. (Latimore v. CLO White Company.) Ray has served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Emory University School of Law, as well as an instructor in both the National Institute of Trial Advocacy Programs, and Civil Litigation Seminars conducted at Emory University’s School of Law. For the past several years Ray has appeared regularly on Court TV, and CNN’s Nancy Grace Show, providing legal commentary on current legal events and trials. Ray’s wife Lisa is a partner in a major national law firm specializing in Securities Litigation, and Employment Discrimination Litigation. Ray is also the proud stepfather of Lisa’s two wonderful children.
