Ryan G. Prescott

Ryan G. Prescott was born and raised in Marietta, Georgia. Ryan attended the University of Georgia, where he graduated with a degree in Psychology, cum laude, in 2001, followed by his Juris Doctor degree in 2004. While in law school, Ryan participated in the Advocacy program, winning the American Bar Association Regional Moot Court Competition's Best Advocate Award in 2003. He was later named to the Order of the Barristers for Excellence in Advocacy. After graduating from law school, Ryan practiced for 7 years at a prominent defense firm handling all aspects of litigation from the administrative law judge level to the Georgia Court of Appeals level. In 2011, Ryan was named as a Rising Star in the area of workers' compensation by Super lawyers Magazine, which is an honor that is bestowed upon only 2.5% of the State's attorneys who are under the age of 40. Ryan has also served as a presenting speaker at seminars and conferences for the Georgia State Board of Workers' Compensation, the Southern Association of Workers' Compensation Administrators (SAWCA), the Georgia Self-Insurers Association (GSIA), and various CLE and certification programs. Most importantly to him, Ryan is married to his beautiful wife, Suzanne, and a father to his adorably-devious 1 year old son, Conner. Suzanne and Ryan enjoy traveling, sports and cooking.
