Shawn G. Shelton

Shawn Shelton joined Moore Ingram Johnson & Steele in 2010 as an associate in the firm’s Taxation and Estate Planning Departments in the Marietta office after two years of private practice. Shawn grew up in Alpharetta, Georgia, and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia in 1999 with a degree in History and Economics. Shawn then worked in the life insurance industry for five and a half years before attending Duke University School of Law in 2005. Shawn was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 2008. Shawn and his wife, Paula, live in Alpharetta. In their spare time, they enjoy reading, watching movies, traveling and spending time with friends and family. Shawn is also an Eagle Scout. Shawn is a firm partner as of 2018, working in the areas of estate tax planning, income tax planning, and corporate tax planning.
