Maegan A. Ruggles

Maegan's practice focuses on civil litigation, with a special emphasis on medical liability and general health care law. She defends many of Hawaii's major private and public hospitals and medical centers, physicians and other health care providers in medical malpractice cases. Throughout law school and before moving to Hawaii, Maegan worked at a boutique law firm in Beverly Hills. Afterwards, she worked as a legislative attorney in the Hawai‘i State Legislature for the 2014 legislative session. After working in the political field, she returned to private practice in civil litigation and focused on medical malpractice defense, premise liability, privacy rights and general health care law. OUTSIDE THE OFFICE Maegan is dedicated not just to her clients, but also to our environment. She's a member of the Surfrider Foundation and active in keeping Hawaii's beaches clean.
