Melanie E. Baillie

Melanie Baillie hails from Juneau, Alaska. She attended Gonzaga University law school, where she graduated cum laude in May 2005, and obtained her license to practice in Idaho. She had a general practice in Coeur d’Alene from 2006 until this February when she joined James, Vernon & Weeks as an associate attorney. Ms. Baillie’s practice focuses on all aspects of family law; personal injury – plaintiff’s work; and general civil litigation. Ms. Baillie is a Idaho Supreme Court certified family law mediator and boasts a healthy success rate in assisting families resolve their legal issues. She is a former Vice President for the First District Bar Association, and a member of the Governing Council of the Family Law Section of the Idaho Bar. Ms. Baillie is married to Rick and they have three children. When Ms. Baillie is not practicing law, you will often find her working in the family garden.
