About Andrew Leuchtmann
Andrew is a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law. Prior to joining the Sotos Law Firm, Andrew served as a prosecutor for fourteen years. He began his career as an Assistant District Attorney in Houston, Texas, where he gained significant trial experience and tried multiple murder cases to verdict. Andrew also served as a federal prosecutor at the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Texas, where he worked in the the Special Prosecutions Section and oversaw the prosecution of white collar, public corruption and national security cases. After returning to Illinois, where he grew up, Andrew was an Assistant State's Attorney at the Kane County State's Attorney's Office Children's Advocacy Center, where he concentrated on prosecuting child abuse cases. Andrew also gained experience in civil litigation during his three years in the litigation section of an established firm in the Chicagoland Area. Andrew has considerable trial experience, having tried over sixty jury trials (and dozens of bench trials) to verdict.
