Daniel J. Beard

Daniel J. Beard graduated from Eastern Illinois University (B.A. in History, with High Honors, 1976) and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law (1979). While in law school, he clerked with the Urbana, Illinois firm of Webber, Balbach & Thies, and later Webber & Thies. Upon graduation, he began the practice of law in Jacksonville, Illinois in 1979 with the law firm Bellatti, Fay, Bellatti & Bone, and became a partner in the reorganized firm Bellatti, Fay, Bellatti & Beard in 1982. He is licensed to practice in the State of Illinois and is admitted to the bar of the U.S. District Court for Central Illinois, which includes the Bankruptcy Court for that District. Mr. Beard concentrates his practice in real estate, estate planning, estate and trust administration, business and commercial law, banking law, education law, tax law, and municipal law.
