Douglas E Zeit

Douglas E. Zeit- Mr. Zeit is known in the legal community as being a tenacious litigator with over 40 years of trial experience in criminal defense and personal injury cases. Beginning his career as a prosecutor in the Lake County State's Attorney's Office, Mr. Zeit prosecuted traffic, misdemeanor, and felony cases. Mr. Zeit left to be a partner in a local law firm where he concentrated his practice on municipal prosecution, municipal law, personal injury, and criminal defense. During this time Mr. Zeit became one of the leaders in the DUI legal community. In 2002 Mr. Zeit opened the Law Offices of Douglas E. Zeit. Since then Mr. Zeit has been known to represent many individuals in a variety of matters, including wrongful death personal injury, auto accident personal injury, trucking personal injury, and premises liability personal injury. Further, Mr. Zeit's reputation in the criminal defense community grew bigger representing individuals in monumental cases that have resulted in the change of law or the challenging of laws that are used by lawyers all over the State of Illinois.
