Edward B. Glicken

Ed joined the Law Office of Steven Horak in 2025, bringing more than 30 years of experience spanning private practice, public service, and executive leadership in the biotech sector. After conversations with Steve, his friend for over 50 years, Ed was inspired by Steve’s fight against the unfair treatment of employees and teamed up with him to support the firm’s mission to protect hardworking individuals and ensure their rights are upheld. Ed’s legal career includes work in private practice at Teller, Levit & Silvertrust, service as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Illinois, and in-house counsel experience with a technology company. His background also includes serving as CEO of H&G Science, a biotech company focused on cancer and health research. He earned his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and his J.D. from Loyola University Chicago. Outside of work, Ed enjoys spending time with his wife and their four children, and he is an avid sports fan who proudly cheers for the Cubs, Bears, Bulls, Blackhawks, and Denver Broncos.
