Julian Manual Valdes

My name is Julian M. Valdes, and I am an attorney primarily practicing in Boone and Winnebago Counties in Northern Illinois. I am a native to Belvidere, Illinois, and I hope to serve the community I was raised in however I can. During law school, I worked for small law firms in Belvidere and Murphysboro, Illinois, primarily working cases in family law and civil litigation. During my time at Reed, Heller, Mansfield & Gross (now Reed, Heller & Cannell) in Murphysboro, Illinois, I worked under the City Attorney for the City of Murphysboro, Illinois by drafting ordinances, assisting in the prosecution of ordinance violations, and conducting research for a constitutional challenge to a local ordinance. Following law school, I served as a law clerk to the Honorable Alberto C. Lamorena, III in the Superior Court of Guam. During my time as a law clerk for the Presiding Judge, I worked on a wide variety of matters ranging from criminal motions and trials (DUI, criminal sexual conduct, theft) to civil litigation and family law matters. I also had the opportunity to assist the Judiciary of Guam with litigation involving the Judiciary in the U.S. District Court of Guam. Currently, I am an Associate Attorney for Nathan J. Noble, P.C. in Belvidere, Illinois. My practice revolves mostly around family law and civil litigation but also includes personal injury, estate planning, and real estate.
