Ms. Trepeck started her own firm to make a greater impact on the lives of people struggling with debt. Julie understands the bankruptcy process and what clients need while going through it. She always displays a great deal of compassion and professionalism. She believes the bankruptcy laws provide a great justice to those seeking financial relief. Her years of experience allow her to represent her clients aggressively, yet with great knowledge on the subject and of the Code. Julie has encountered a variety of issues while practicing bankruptcy, always facing the issues head on with each case she conducts. Ms. Trepeck has assisted thousands of people in all stages of debt solution and works effectively to advocate for each and every one of her clients. She has consulted individuals and business owners to get a fresh start or reorganize their financial lives. Prior to starting this firm, Julie had experience working at other firms in the bankruptcy world. She worked extensively with bankruptcy, debt settlement, divorce, real estate and general motion practice. With a focus on bankruptcy, both Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases, she started out her bankruptcy career with the largest bankruptcy firm in the United States. While there, she became one of the managing attorneys for the Chicago office and with that managing team, she helped lead the firm's education and training of all new attorneys. Additionally, she provided an integral part to refine the internal processes of the firm. She refined the process to make it more efficient, not only internally, but also for clients. Just after law school, Julie had her own company, Foreclosure Associates, LLC where she assisted homeowners in forbearances, loan modifications or other options in an effort to help people save their homes. Her knowledge of the foreclosure process is extensive and allowed her to represent clients and get them the relief they needed. Julie Trepeck attended undergrad at the University of Michigan and graduated with Honors. She then went on to law school in Chicago, at Chicago-Kent College of Law which brought her to Chicago. Julie is currently licensed in both Illinois and Michigan with her practice of bankruptcy taking place in Illinois. She is also licensed to practice in the federal district court for the Northern District of Illinois.
