Matthew J. Goldstein

Matthew J. Goldstein is an attorney at Wallace Miller. His practice focuses on class action, consumer protection, and antitrust litigation. He has extensive experience developing and prosecuting class action litigation across a wide variety of fields, including privacy law, consumer fraud, and products liability. Matthew fights tirelessly for his clients and to change the law for the better. In several of his recent cases, federal district judges have held that various consumer arbitration provisions were unenforceable under the prospective waiver doctrine as they waived state and federal law and separately because they were unconscionable, victories both for his clients and consumers at large. He is currently representing plaintiffs in employment litigation against the Allstate Insurance Company; prosecuting predatory lenders, including those responsible for the lending operation that does business as ZocaLoans; and challenging facially discriminatory insurance policies. Matthew recently argued an appeal before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit in a case challenging predatory lending practices.
