Phillip Spiwak

While at Law School in Michigan, I worked for the Michigan Friend of the Court dealing with minor children abuse and neglect cases. Upon graduation and passing the Illinois State Bar exam I became an active participant in the Illinois Justice for Youth program. I established my own practice concentrating in Federal and State Court. I also practiced cases in State court dealing with criminal/felony. In 1992 I was sworn into the Northern District of Illinois Federal Trial Bar. I have handled numerous felony cases up to and including arson, burglary, rape, possession of controlled substances, UUW and PCS cases. I have jury trial experience, and have represented hundreds of people in Federal court. I was an active member of Rotary One in Chicago. Currently, I am an arbitrator on the Cook County Arbitration Panel as to Subrogation and injury cases. I am also an active bar attorney for the Chicago Bar Association. I have represented hundreds of people before the Illinois Secretary of State as to license reinstatement, including; fraud, drunk driving, and reckless homicide cases. I believe that all people have a right to have their day in court. All people deserve to be represented by competent counsel and to have an impartial jury decide their case. I care for the people of Illinois.
