Sara L. Roberts

Sara L. Roberts is an accomplished family law attorney with 20 years of experience. She has extensive experience and knowledge in all areas of family and matrimonial law, including custody and allocation of parental responsibilities, parenting time, maintenance, child support, financial issues and post decree actions. Ms. Roberts is a member of the Illinois Bar Association, Lake County Bar Association, and the Association of Women Attorneys of Lake County. Ms. Roberts graduated with high honors from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science in Education and Psychology in 1995. Throughout her undergraduate career, Ms. Roberts was affiliated with Sigma Delta Tau, a national sorority committed to empowering women. She achieved Order of Omega for her outstanding leadership and academic performance, as well as granted Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. Ms. Roberts obtained her Juris Doctor from Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago - Kent College of Law in 2001. Prior to joining Denis M. Gravel & Associates, P.C., Ms. Roberts was a partner at both Strategic Divorce and Riewer & Collins, LLC. She also served as a family law attorney at Matthew Kaplan & Associates.
