Trent S. West

Trent West is a Montgomery County attorney and lifelong resident of Nokomis, Illinois, dedicated to serving individuals and families throughout Central Illinois. He earned his degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and his law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School (n/k/a Western Michigan University – Cooley Law School), where he concentrated on litigation and courtroom advocacy. Mr. West has extensive courtroom experience representing clients in personal injury, criminal defense, traffic violations, bankruptcy, estate planning, and estate administration matters. He has litigated cases from both the prosecution and defense perspectives and has successfully represented clients in hearings, trials, and complex legal proceedings. In private practice, Mr. West focuses heavily on personal injury representation, estate administration (probate and non-probate), bankruptcy filings, and estate planning. His practical litigation background allows him to advocate aggressively while remaining focused on efficient and effective solutions. Mr. West lives in Nokomis with his wife, Krystal, and their three children. He is an active member of the Rotary eClub of Central Illinois, Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, Illinois State Bar Association, and Montgomery County Bar Association.
