Brooke N. McMillin

Brooke McMillin’s natural abilities to be focused and well-organized were born out in her initial career as a project manager for a major national corporation. While she enjoyed significant success in this career, the study of law had long been her true interest. Before becoming an attorney, Brooke spent seven years working as a paralegal in family law, gaining firsthand experience with the complexities and deeply personal nature of domestic relations cases. Brooke ultimately pursued her long-standing interest in the law by earning her Juris Doctor from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. Her experience in family law both before and after admission to the bar allows her to approach cases with practical insight, careful organization, and attention to detail, helping clients navigate challenging legal matters with clarity and confidence. She works with clients on a variety of domestic relations matters, including divorce, custody, parenting time, and related family law issues. In working with clients, Brooke focuses on helping them understand both what is happening in their case and why. She believes that explaining the legal process and the reasoning behind important decisions helps clients feel informed and involved rather than overwhelmed. Drawing on the organizational and communication skills developed during her career as a project manager, she works to keep cases on track while building trust and maintaining clear communication with her clients. Outside of the office, Brooke enjoys exploring her many interests. She has a particular appreciation for history and architecture – especially historic buildings – which she happily admits to obsessing over in her spare time. She also enjoys a good glass of wine and spending time with her cats.
