Gavin M. Gard

Gavin M. Gard is an attorney at the firm who represents individuals, families, and organizations in a wide array of business law matters, including business formation, transactions, employment law, and real estate transactions. He provides strategic counsel to closely-held business owners and fiduciaries in the areas of business and estate planning, probate and trust administration, and taxation. Drawing on his background in business management, Gavin brings a practical, business-oriented approach to his work, particularly when advising clients on complex issues such as business planning, mergers and acquisitions, and succession strategies. He takes the time to thoroughly understand each client’s business and unique goals, allowing him to craft tailored legal solutions and strategies. Gavin graduated from Indiana University Maurer School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana. He received his undergraduate degree in business administration from Monmouth College, in Monmouth, Illinois while also being a member of the College’s football team. Gavin began his career at the firm as a summer law clerk in 2023. As a dedicated, client-centered attorney, Gavin is committed to fostering long-term relationships with his clients, helping them resolve legal issues and find practical solutions to their legal challenges. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing, and studying leadership and management practice through books and podcasts.
