James D. Masur II

James D. Masur II ("JD") has provided legal services to individuals, small and medium size businesses owners, and multi-billion dollar corporations since 1984. He earned his JD from the University of Virginia after having been graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Miami University, where he was awarded the superior student award in his department and achieved fluency in French and German. He has practiced and lived in three states, where he served as lead counsel in Federal and state court trials, including for Trump Casinos and Resorts. As counsel for a Hospital system, he spearheaded a drive to raise funds for construction of a cancer treatment center, in order to spare patients in Ashtabula, Ohio a 3 hour drive for radiation and chemotherapy, and was responsible for documentation for the purchase of a substance abuse treatment center from Miami Bankruptcy Court, along with multiple county hospital bond financing transactions. After being a partner in one of Indy's largest law firms, Locke Reynolds, he rebooted 13 years ago, in order to join one of Indiana's most experienced and renowned lawyers, where his practice complements the practice areas covered by Mr. York. JD is admitted to the bar of the United States Supreme Court, and to practice before various federal and state trial and appellate courts in Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Alabama.
