Jesse Robert Harper

Attorney Jesse Harper was born and raised in Porter County, Indiana. A 1988 graduate of Valparaiso High School, Jesse received his Bachelor of Science at California State University Northridge and his Juris Doctorate at Valparaiso University School of Law, where he was in the Honors Program. Jesse focuses primarily in the areas of criminal defense and personal injury and has brought numerous cases to trial by jury in Lake, Porter, and LaPorte Counties as well as in Federal Court in the Northern District of Indiana. Jesse is member of the Indiana Bar Association, Porter County Bar Association and National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Jesse is dedicated to the community and has twice been elected as Center Township Trustee in Porter County. Jesse is a member of the Valparaiso Noon Kiwanis, serves on the board of the Center Township Foundation, and has attended St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Valparaiso for over fifty years. Jesse has taught several Continuing Legal Education classes focusing on criminal law and evidence to his fellow lawyers through the Porter County Bar association.
