Matthew J. Warner

Matt Warner is an associate of Westland & Bennett P.C. Matt is a Region native who grew up in Highland and now lives there with his wife and 3 sons. At a young age, he set his sights on becoming an attorney. After high school, Matt began working for a law firm in Chicago as a legal assistant. He continued working for this firm while he attained his bachelor's degree from Purdue University and his law degree from Valparaiso University School of Law. After he passed the Illinois bar exam, he began working at the same firm as an associate. For the next 6 years, Matt continued working in Chicago, gaining experience in multiple areas of law (from creditor's rights to real estate to insurance litigation and everything in between). While it gave him great experience; working in Illinois did not provide Matt with the chance to help individuals from the Region. Matt really wanted to start giving back to his community and creating stronger ties to the area he grew up in. In 2020, Matt joined Westland & Bennett P.C. Not only did this give Matt an opportunity to expand his practice and help people within his community, it also gave him the opportunity to give back in other ways. Matt and his wife are involved in many different organizations, and they are members of the Board of Highland Little League.
