Steven Lammers

Steven Lammers grew up in South Bend, Indiana. He attended Miami University (Ohio) where he graduated cum laude with a degree in Finance. Lammers went on to Valparaiso University School of Law and obtained his law degree in 2006. Lammers is admitted to practice law in Indiana and Illinois and the federal courts in these two states. Out of law school, Lammers practiced in northwest Indiana for a large law firm for over 9 years before coming to the Indianapolis area to practice. Lammers is a litigator and trial lawyer. Lammers’ practice is devoted to representing clients in court in various personal injury, wrongful death, civil rights, medical malpractice, legal malpractice, professional liability, construction, business disputes and other liability and litigation claims. Lammers handles matters throughout the State of Indiana for individuals and businesses and has a range of experience. His unique health care, construction, business and financial background makes him a valuable resource in any case or matter. He has significant jury trial experience. In early 2020, Lammers obtained an almost $1 million verdict for his client following a business dispute jury trial involving assisted living facilities. In 2023, Lammers was one of the main attorneys in a civil rights wrongful death case, procuring a settlement for $625,000 against a well-known jail medical provider. Lammers has settled numerous other cases for clients, obtaining favorable results. Lammers is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association (“ISBA”) and participated in the Leadership Development Academy with the ISBA. Lammers was recognized in the “20 under 40” by the Northwest Indiana Times in 2014. He was selected to the Indiana Super Lawyers “Rising Stars” in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 & 2020. Lammers was selected to Indiana Super Lawyers in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024. He was also named to the 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 U.S. News Best Lawyers® in America. Outside the office, Lammers enjoys the time he spends with his children and the many activities in which they are involved.
