Brian O. Marty

Brian Marty grew up in Helena, Montana. He graduated in 2004 from Helena High School, where he was an All-State swimmer. After high school, Brian attended the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, North Dakota. He graduated summa cum laude in 2007 with a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in Aviation Management. While at UND, he earned his Commercial Pilot’s License and instrument and multi-engine ratings. He also served as president of his fraternity, Sigma Alpha Epsilon. After graduating from UND, Brian enrolled at the University of St. Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis, Minnesota. During law school, he served as Publications Editor of the St. Thomas Law Journal. He also studied abroad in Rome, Italy, and worked as a summer associate at a large Minneapolis law firm. Brian received awards in his three legal writing classes, his Ethical Leadership in Corporate Practice class, and his Evidence class. Brian graduated summa cum laude from St. Thomas School of Law in 2010. Desiring to return to Montana, Brian successfully passed the Montana Bar Exam and began his employment with Moulton Bellingham in the fall of 2010. Brian is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Montana, and the Yellowstone Area Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in Montana state and federal courts. Brian practices primarily in bankruptcy, civil litigation, corporate practice, banking and corporate finance, and aviation law.
