Reagan H. Slater

Reagan has always known that she wanted to be an attorney, and has maintained the steadfast desire to accomplish that goal. She worked as a receptionist at Slater Law, LLC throughout high school, and interned at another firm in Des Moines while in college. Reagan strives to help her clients through tough times by offering honest, straightforward advice, while being mindful that any honesty and straightforwardness can always be accompanied by compassion. Reagan joined Slater Law, LLC as an Attorney in September of 2020. Prior to joining Slater Law, LLC, Reagan attended Iowa State University where she received a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. After college, Reagan attended Drake Law School where she received her J.D. In law school, Reagan was a Student Attorney at the Drake Legal Civil Clinic. She represented individuals in a variety of family law issues, including divorces, child custody, child support, domestic abuse, and juvenile guardianship. She received the International Academy of Trial Lawyers award for her work at the clinic, which is awarded to a student who best demonstrates the qualities of a good trial practitioner based on his/her excellence in legal clinic courses. During her free time, she is usually spending time with family, friends, and her two little kitties. She also enjoys laughing, traveling, exercising, samurai-sudoku puzzles, and wine-tastings.
