Michael Christian Duma

Michael C. Duma began his legal career as a criminal prosecutor in the Wyandotte County District Attorney's Office. At his time there, he developed a skill for litigation and held an impressive conviction record. In 2013, Michael entered private practice with his father John Duma and began a focus on defending those accused of crimes. Since that time, Michael has distinguished himself as a leader in the field of criminal defense and DUI defense. Michael has been named a Super Lawyer "Rising Star" by Thompson Reuter's since 2015 and has been selected by the National Trial Lawyers Association for their "Top 40 under 40" designation since 2015. Michael regularly appears in state and federal courts across the metropolitan area and is well known for his skilled trial advocacy. Michael believes the highest calling of a criminal defense attorney is to fight for someone that is wrongly accused, be with them through the process of being prosecuted, and walk out of the courtroom with them when a verdict of not guilty is returned.
