About Michael M. Shultz

Michael Shultz has over 25 years of experience working in labor and employment law. Over his career, Michael has worked with virtually every type of employment issue that can arise. Michael represents only employees in employment disputes. He began his career in Denver before taking a teaching job at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, where he earned tenure before going back into legal practice. Michael has handled over 100 employment cases in state and federal courts and dozens more before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Kansas Human Rights Commission. Michael has had a very high success rate obtaining compensation for his clients, but there is never a guarantee in any case that there will be a favorable result. Michael has filed cases against such large employers as Sprint, Amazon, GE Credit Corp., University of Kansas, State of Kansas, BNSF Railway and Target, as well as smaller businesses and county and city governments. He has represented clients in every part of the state of Kansas.
