Mike Wyatt

At a young age, Michael J. Wyatt admired the attorneys in movies who represented “the little guy.” He went on to receive his Bachelor of Arts (Summa Cum Laude) from Washburn University in 2004 and a Juris Doctor (with honors) from Washburn University School of Law in 2007. He then started his career with the Wichita defense firm of Klenda, Mitchell, Austerman & Zuercher, LLC. Today, Mike is a partner at Mann Wyatt Tanksley Injury Attorneys Midwest Personal Injury Firm, a trial attorney, and an award-winning published author. He is passionate about helping clients in Kansas, Colorado, Missouri, and Oklahoma and has successfully settled and litigated many multi-million dollar cases. Mike focuses his practice on the law of negligence, including wrongful death, automobile, and trucking accidents, catastrophic injury, home, and work explosions, products liability, nursing home neglect, and premises liability. Mike is licensed in Kansas, Colorado, Missouri, and Oklahoma state and federal courts. He is a member of various bar associations, trial lawyer organizations, and has served on the executive board for the Kansas Trial Lawyer Association. Mike has been named to the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyers list numerous times as well as their Top 40 Under 40. He has also received the distinguished AVVO perfect rating for client communication, responsiveness, effectiveness, and value. Mike enjoys the opportunity to serve in his local church and on the boards of several non-profit organizations. Mike’s most notable accomplishment is his longtime marriage to his wife, Jamie. He is the proud father of three children.
