C. Edward Hastie

C. Edward Hastie is highly regarded for his work in the area of estate planning. He possesses a unique understanding of complicated estate planning and tax issues, and can explain these issues, and their implications, to his clients in a clear manner. Mr. Hastie is an attorney in Morgan & Pottinger's Lexington office. His past positions within the firm include that of Shareholder, Managing Director and Executive Committee member. More Than a Lawyer Mr. Hastie has spent more than 30 years volunteering his time to assist Sayre School. After his children graduated from Sayre he continued to give back to the school and its students by serving as volunteer project manager for the school's $25 million construction projects, and as a volunteer assistant basketball coach for its high school. From 2003 to 2010 he worked as Director of Development and General Counsel for the school, while continuing his estate planning practice at Morgan & Pottinger.
