David K. Emerson

David Emerson is from Casey County, Kentucky. Prior to attending law school, he worked as an English teacher in the Cumberland Gap region and Nashville, Tennessee. Emerson received his bachelor’s in English, with honors, from Campbellsville University, master’s in English from Belmont University, and juris doctor from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law. At Rosenberg Law, Emerson served as an articles editor for the Kentucky Law Journal and was selected to be an extern for the Kentucky Innocence Project. His article, The Changed Landscape of Kentucky DUI Arrests and Prosecutions, was recently published in Volume 52 of the Northern Kentucky Law Review. In his Associate Attorney position at Strause Law Group, PLLC, David represents clients in a variety of legal matters including but not limited to Professional Licensure Defense, Business Transactions and Disputes, Healthcare Law, Employment Law, and Contracts. Outside of the office, he enjoys reading, playing music, and collecting records.
