John Bennett

I am grateful to Foreman Watson Holtrey, LLP for giving me the opportunity to return to Western Kentucky. I grew up in Decatur, AL, but both my parents were born and raised in Ohio County, and my siblings and I often enjoyed coming to visit this region. I still have many relatives throughout Ohio County and much of Western Kentucky. I was drawn back to the region to attend Western Kentucky University, where I graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Criminology. It was here I also met my wonderful wife. Shortly after we were married, I graduated cum laude from Salmon P. Chase College of Law, and went directly into private practice for a small, general practice firm in Louisville. I was also Vice Chair for the Young Lawyers' Section of the Louisville Bar Association in 2017. I believe my experience has prepared me well to serve the good people of Western Kentucky in an array of matters including: criminal law, personal injury and domestic relations. I have diagnosed myself as a "golf nut," but I also enjoy reading and spending time with my family during my free time. I look forward to getting to work for the good people of Western Kentucky.
