Mason Proffitt

Mason Proffitt joined Moore Ingram Johnson & Steele in 2018 as an associate in the firm’s Lexington, Kentucky office. Practicing primarily in Workers’ Compensation Defense, Mason is a member of the firm’s Civil Litigation department. Originally from a small rural town near Bowling Green, Kentucky, Mason attended Western Kentucky University where he graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. Upon graduation, Mason moved to Lexington, Kentucky, to attend University of Kentucky College of Law. While earning his Juris Doctor, Mason was a board member on the University’s moot court team; he also served as a judicial intern and extern in Fayette County Family Court. After graduating law school in 2016 and successfully passing the Kentucky bar exam, Mason joined a small civil litigation firm in London, Kentucky, practicing primarily insurance defense. Mason currently lives in Lexington, Kentucky, and enjoys going to the gym, live music, and bartending private events.
